We had to deal with Old Man Winter this week.  Our playground was covered in three inches of snow on Tuesday.  We had lots of fun with indoor activities.  We set up the books on tape center.  We played parachute.  We learned the Limbo and the Chicken Dance.

Happy Valentine's Day from Bella Vista Preschool.  We had lots of fun making Valentine's sacks, delivering Valentines, and eating treats.  We talked about God's gift of love and those we love.  Share some love with your Valentines!

Dental Health Week

This week we all enjoyed learning how to care for our teeth.  We made big toothbrush charts and looked at impressions made by teeth. Every day we counted to see how many of us brushed our teeth before school that day.  The Butterfly class (plus a few siblings) visited the offices of Dr. Chris Combs in Bella Vista, and each BVPS student enjoyed a goody bag from Dr. Combs.

 Each Butterfly got a chance to sit in the dentist's chair and try 'Mr. Slurpy'.

 Dr. Combs made sure we all understood what happens at a dental appointment, and that everyone brushes their teeth twice a day...fun to practice on those giant teeth!
